One of McCain’s worst betrayals was requesting Lerner’s IRS to go after Arizona conservatives because they opposed him.
...what I forgot to say in my #59, was anyone McCain may have caused harm either in or unintentionally, will be forgiving him if they desire to avoid the flames. The same goes for the rest of us.

I don’t think humans are capable of fully forgiving people. I happen to believe we must, if we hope to enjoy a happy post life experience. That said, there is no argument that: “the world is indeed better if certain people aren’t around...its just a fact...”
It is probably common, but in my almost twenty years at FR, I have never seen an exact same time post. Happy New Year.

For too long, the Iranian people have been oppressed by their government, which cares more about sowing instability abroad than its own citizens. The U.S. stands with the brave protesters who yearn for freedom, peace, and an end to corruption in Iran.

everyone should be allowed to die with dignity. how we treat those we do not like or disagree with is an indicator to the character we ourselves have. I think all of us at Free republic should remember this when we post about John McCain and his possible end life care.

If he truly has brain cancer then at some point he has to withdraw from public life. I suspect this is what is happening

FWIW my family in the PHX area says that the rumor is that McCain will shortly assume room temperature.
I don’t wish McCain ill; he just needs to call it a career, step aside and spend his final days with his family, so a replacement can be named.
He will heat up really soon after room temp.
