I've been a FReeper since 1998 and still don't know what the activity tab does

I figure I should know what thee Activity Tab feature does now that I am approaching my 20th year. Any help is appreciated

The comments tab is It. It’s where you want to be, to get in on discussions. You don’t want the threads the second they are posted. I always choose comments as it lets you know where the discussions are.

Believe it or not, I have reported a few things.

Some people will actually put in some really racist verbiage and I will hit that and tell the mod that such a post is not reflective of free republic. It’s not being a snowflake; it’s not making the site look like what the public thinks we are. Because we are not racist. If some schmuck here uses that kind of talk, it makes us all look bad. I doubt I’ve done it 10 times in 19 years though.

Only last year did I try colloidal silver. Because when I lived in Europe there was a woman in town, elegant, older, dressed impeccably, hair coiffed, who was always alone. She died alone, shopped alone. Probably lived alone. I’d say maybe 50 years old. She was the same color as the Papa Smurf guy.

I researched what would turn people purple and found the info about colloidal silver and vowed never to touch it. I’ve since learned that it can be safely used. Don’t know what that woman did to become the most elegant purple human on the planet but I felt really bad for her.

Save the photo to your hard drive.

Then go to postimages.org and hit choose image. Select your image. Upload it. Then click on the little square in the second line called Direct Link. Now your picture is saved as paste.

Paste it onto FR and before it add < img src=
With no space after the <
And after it add a >
With no space before it

And then you get your photo posted.

It’s also very, very easy to drag a thread off topic, since you’re not really looking at the topic but the comments and possibly have never even seen the topic of the thread, just the title with the most recent comment.

I do remember when a thread showed how many people had viewed it or responded to it. Used to be up in the 1000 - 2000.

My family swears by it. In fact the Holidays got in the way of my distilling station and I am about out. Gotta rebuild my mad scientist lab and brew up some more. I can make about 2 1/2gal of colloidal silver in about 8 or 9 hours. Until it hits 15ppm then you are ready.

It does help inside the nose. Then once you kill the bad bacteria you can repopulate with kimchi bacteria. Weird but true. There is research on this! (I have had two nasal brain surgeries and man, those surgeons trash your septum when they are up in there)

Just had lower back surgery. I cant imagine accessing your brain thru your nose. Thats how the Egyptians got the brains out of the mummies, was thru the nose.

I had a similar thing, for about 5 years the back door drivers side of my truck was inoperable, loaned it to my buddy he gets back and gets out of the truck and opens the inoperable door, Me- How did you fix that.
Him - unlocked the child safety lock (or whatever it is called)

They have improved transsphenoidal surgery now. The first one, they blocked the nasal passage after for days and it was just awful. And you need morphine for a few days for sure. This last time, they kept the nasal passages open the whole time. Still a month recovery. Not looking forward to another one. Maybe there won’t be one. But yeah, sinus headache from the pits of hell. Morphine, blessedly, really does work. And I stop it fast enough to never get addicted.
