The most trusted man in America...

Speaks volumes as to how we find ourselves now.

See item #3...invokes the name of George Soros...as a visionary and constructive contributor. Global taxation. UN military forces.

Makes me madder than Hell.

This was the reporter that actually broke the news.

Merriman Smith’s account of JFK’s assassination

At 12:34 p.m. Central time, four minutes after the shooting, UPI’s A-wire clattered out the first news of the assassination:

“DALLAS, NOV. 22 (UPI) – THREE SHOTS FIRED AT PRESIDENT KENNEDY’S MOTORCADE TODAY IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS.”

Why would anybody want to watch a movie based on news reports? The real thing is much more interesting.

Rogen is one of those guys that is naturally funny. He could read cereal box ingredients and it would be hilarious.

Did any one see the movie “This is the end” that was funny

Back then, they couldn’t even show Cronkite at first, because it took a half an hour for the camera to warm up enough, they just had his voice over a static screen.

I may have to check it out. I assume the guy is a liberal weenie, but I don’t recall hearing him spouting off.

I must say, I saw the movie “Sausage Party”, and while there were some parts I found funny, it degenerated to the point the last third of the movie was disgustingly pro-homosexual and by the time it ended, my opinion of the movie had changed significantly in a negative way.

It wasn’t just that introduced the homosexual themes in it, they went all out and smashed you over the head with it. That is a non-starter for me.

Back in 1962 Cronkite was not the “Most trusted man in news”.

The top news show then was The Huntley-Brinkley Report. I wish they were on today, hard news coverage and I believe they were fair.

Rogen is beyond his acting talents playing Cronkite.

Because of his lie about the Tet offensive in 1968/69 and his effect on American opinions, Cronkite is responsible for many thousands of American deaths. Cronkite, after his TV retirement, went full lefty. RIHWC!

“CBS television news anchor Walter Cronkite, who had witnessed firsthand the bitter fighting at Hue, no doubt voiced the sentiment of many Americans when he exclaimed, “What the hell is going on?—I thought we were winning the war.” On 27 Feb, after returning from Vietnam, Cronkite went on the air, and declared the war a stalemate, and called for the U.S. to negotiate its way out of the war.

In truth, the Tet Offensive, as it unfolded during the next weeks and months, turned out to be a disaster for the Communists, at least at the tactical level.”

I would also say, two million Cambodian deaths, as well.

Think of all of his protégés and fellow travelers...Rather, Safer, Wallace, Arnett, to name a few. Think of the damage done over the decades by these news media clones of Cronkite.

My father, a WWII vet, gulped it all down without question, trusted Cronkite and CBS inherently. As did most Americans.

Bad choice. Gary Oldham is playing Churchill. THAT should be good. He was extraordinary in Tinker Tailor . .

No, can't see him as Cronkite. He's always played goofballs.

I didn’t get the parlance...at all.

I thought it was a movie about animated produce...

I admit to not being up on current culture, and my wife pokes fun at me about it.

I knew who and what Kim Kardashian is, but I had never seen her. I walked by as my wife was watching some thing on TV (I don’t watch television programming) and I asked who the woman was, because it was clear the producers were treating her differently from everyone else on the show, and my wife rolled her eyes at me and said “That’s Kim Kardashian.”

We were at a party the other night and she related this, and said “He didn’t even know who her husband was...” and I had to ask who he was (Some douchebag rapper, I guess)

I am up to date with news, but not culture. When I went to see Roger Waters back in 2004, I was steaming out the ears mad at paying for a concert ticket for three hours of attempted liberal moon-battery brainwashing by him. I liked Pink Floyd music, and thought that was what it was going to be.

Boy, was I wrong.

I went with a bunch of people, and didn’t want to ruin their night by making a scene, but man, was I hot. He ended the show by releasing a 40 foot high helium filled pig with “Vote Democrat” on one side and “F*** Bush” on the other side painted in dripping red blood paint.

In retrospect, I should have known, but...I didn’t follow pop culture THAT closely. I guess I need to do better at that.

Oh, I am 100% in that camp, I know enough about it to know the truth.

And I pin the deaths of many on him and his ilk.

I saw a movie with Jeff Daniels called “The Crossing” about George Washington and the crossing of the Delaware.

He played George Washington.

I thought he was very good...a good actor, but...every single time I looked at him, all I could see was “Dumb and Dumber”!

(I did like him as Joshua Chamberlain in “Gettysburg”...)
