An aspiring actress says Harvey Weinstein used Oprah Winfrey and Naomi Campbell to dupe her into thinking he would help her with her career — only to use her for sex.
British actress Kadian Noble said Tuesday she was head-over-heels impressed when she first met Weinstein at an event in London because he was hanging out with model Campbell and had megastar Oprah “swinging off his arm.”
“I thought, obviously, this man has something amazing in store for me,” she said during a teary-eyed press conference in Manhattan to discuss the sex trafficking lawsuit she filed a day earlier against Weinstein in Manhattan federal court.
Instead, Weinstein used promises of career advancement to lure the actress to his hotel room in Cannes, France, where he forced himself on her, she said.
“I felt completely played,” she said.

Oprah says she was molested as a child. Not all, but many who were molested become molesters. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is one sick woman.
my question is did Oprah let Weinstein and others use her to put other women at ease so they would be taken advantage of and was there an understanding early on in her carrier if she did this for the rich and powerful they would help her with her career goals.

Not too ironic, since OJ was a Bills star, and ol Harv was starting his business career, and Buffalo is a small city.

Showbiz is a powerful gravitational pull. It’s bait for the talented weak.
The implied claim behind your question is unfalsifiable.
Unless someone comes up with hard evidence that Oprah, e.g., supplied the "roofies" (drugs to knock out the victims), it will be impossible to prove that she did anything but "try to help these young starlets establish useful contacts with powerful men in the industry."

There were undoubtedly thousands of other "average-looking" Black women who would have been equally willing to compromise themselves, and yet who failed to achieve her level of success.
I've never watched her tv show, but I assume that she must have a level of "smarts" far beyond the average.
