So who was his secret "Prairie Home Companion"?

Lake Wobegon is a quintessentially Minnesota small town characterized by the narrator as "... where all the women are strong (they need to be to fend off gropers), all the men are good-looking (oooh....was he hitting on men, too?), and all the children are above average (....and I truly hope protected from predators)."

I think it can be either, but here is the etimology:

"...Pétard comes from the Middle French péter, to break wind, from the root pet, expulsion of intestinal gas, derived from the Latin peditus, past participle of pedere, to break wind. In modern French, a pétard is a firecracker (and it is the basis for the word for firecracker in several other European languages).

Pétardiers were deployed during sieges of castles or fortified cities. The pétard, a rather primitive and exceedingly dangerous explosive device, comprised a brass or iron bell-shaped device filled with gunpowder and affixed to a wooden base called a madrier. This was attached to a wall or gate using hooks and rings, the fuse lit and, if successful, the resulting explosive force, concentrated at the target point, would blow a hole in the obstruction, allowing assault troops to enter.

Shakespeare's phrase, "hoist with his own petard," is an idiom that means "to be harmed by one's own plan to harm someone else" or "to fall into one's own trap", implying that one could be lifted (blown) upward by one's own bomb, or in other words, be foiled by one's own plan..."

Kind of funny!

Garrison Keiller is a pompous boring windbag and the ugliest man in Minnesota. The local papers will run photos of him with his chins propped up by his hand as in deep thought when we now know he was thinking about groping women.

Matt Lauer is another who I have read about for many many years about having affairs with his co-hosts and other women while being married. NBC execs had to know but I suspect were in on the groping and assaults of women. The co-hosts certainly knew just like the women at CBS with Charlie Rose. Rush today played excerpts of Matt Lauer going after Trump which showed what hypocrites liberals are.

The way Matt Lauer sat I always thought he like guys.

The comments at the site below show either how stupid people can be or are paid posters who will slander others to cover the criminals of the democrat party.

Garrison Keillor: Talk of Franken resigning is ‘pure absurdity’
A day before his own firing, Lake Wobegon’s humorist defended the former satirist’s “spirit of low comedy.”

It’s one big payback from women who did things they didn’t want to do to get ahead.. and then never got a phone call.

If they "didn't want to do it", but then did it because they wanted career advancement more than self respect, then it was consensual.

I did Not say it wasn’t, technically... but that’s why it’s payback because the gates have been swung open.
