And he very well may be headed to A&M.
I keep telling you but you don’t listen. Notre Dame getting it’s 3rd loss by losing to a 3 loss Stanford team not only hurts Miami but Georgia as well, as that was the Dawgs best win. Which now places the entire SEC strength of schedule under scrutiny.
I do believe fans and supporters are figuring out that he’s not elite level for sustaining excellence over the duration.
Agreed.
This might be the year where the college administrators call for expansion of the CFP to 6 or 8 teams.
I confess, I liked it better without playoffs, when you can have the endless arguments about who is the best team. Heck, the arguments are a lot more interesting than the games themselves.
Lol, historical facts that put the lie to most everything you've posted. Strength of schedule? For the last time, here's the Big 10+4 strength of schedule.
The 2015 Big 10+4 participant in the four team playoff.
Alabama 38, Michigan State 0
The 2016 Big 10+4 participant.
Clemson 31, Ohio State 0
A pathetically weak showing which raises the legit question of whether any Big 10+4 rep should be invited again until they play some Top 20 out of conference teams and show an ability to beat someone other than each other. The Big 10+4 really seems to have weakened seriously the past two seasons, and this season.
No further discussion from me.
Take all the power 5 conference champs as automatical bids and then argue over the 3 at large bids.
When you are about to be shut out of the conversation it must be hard to focus on the now...
When you’re losing an argument bring up the past when it has no relevancy to the now...
UGA’s mistake was staying with Fromm, although all evidence points to Eason being a better QB. If they had brought back Eason as soon as he was healthy, I think they would have had a much better shot against Auburn in that first game.
We may end up seeing him because GA is going to have to throw the ball against Auburn in order to loosen up that front 7 for the run
I agree...College Football is wonderful, except for debacles like yesterday, lol. Luckily, those days dont happen very often:)
I would hate to be on the Playoff Committee. They have their work cut out for them because there are really no dominant teams in CFB this year.
Before today, I was predicting an OSU victory over Wisconsin, but now I dont know. Todays nuclear meltdown in Knoxville over UT hiring the OSU Defensive Coordinator, Greg Schiano, may prove to be a huge distraction for the Buckeyes, despite the fact that UT backed out of the deal.
Ill say this: The UT- Schiano debacle has proven to be glorious:)
Don’t look now, with Dan Mullen, We’re Back!
That the ACC is considered a Top 5 power conference is a joke. The ACC is Clemson and a bunch of basketball schools that Clemson dominates year after year.
Maybe if Clemson would put some money in the basketball team they could compete with the rest of the ACC in basketball or better than that move their ass to the SEC where theyve always belonged. The ACC has always been a basketball conference and thats not changing. Miami should also be in the SEC. Same for FSU. And get Syracuse and Boston College back in the Big East where they belong.
Well, Bama fans are still happy with Saban (despite Saturday’s meltdown) but I believe the Gators made a solid hire.
Mullen did an excellent job at Starkville, of all places, and can definitely develop QB’s.
Congrats!
Thanks, at first I was lukewarm to the idea of Mullen, now I’m fired up. Recruits seem excited about him coming to Gainesville, and I think at least, if nothing else, he’ll clean up the rot and get us competitive again.
And when they finally got around to playing a decent team, they lost.
