The Church of Sweden has voted to adopt a controversial new handbook which says masculine references to God, such as “He” and “Lord” should be scrapped so as to be more “inclusive”. Despite heavy criticism from organisations including Royal Swedish Academy, on Thursday the church approved the new handbook with a large majority.

Sweden needs to change the national name to Trottelsland while they wait for Uncle Adolf to appear. Waiting for mohammet is not a option as it is a final solution.

Evangelical Lutheran state church. I wonder if the Orthodox and even some of the major Protestant denominations should hold a conclave to resolve that the Church of Sweden is no longer a Christian church.
Promoting inclusivity, the New PC Bible will have Jesus crucified between two whores. The traditional thieves are right out!

Likely done FOR them, as muslims believe that Jesus was only a prophet.
The entire church is feminine (the bride) to God’s masculine.
Changing that, just like changing the “male and female he made them”, is altering our perceptions of God (and the nature of the relationship he intends for us to have with him).
Just have to refer to everybody and everything as an “it” I guess.
May as well replace the Bible with the Koran while their at it because that country is pretty well in the toilet.
We laugh, but people in Sweden believe this kind of thinking!
Muslims will take this as agreement that Allah is greater.
Does God have to obey this? I mean it was God who started all this “Lord” and “He” stuff. I’m sure God is really embarrassed by His (oops, force of habit) lack of inclusiveness now that the “error” has been pointed out by the Church of Sweden.
