President Donald Trump took to Twitter to criticize Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch Monday morning.
After photographs surfaced showing Lynch standing during the Mexican national anthem and sitting during the US national anthem at a game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City on Sunday, Trump called for his suspension.
"Marshawn Lynch of the NFL's Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down," he tweeted.
The President and the NFL have butted heads over athletes' decisions to kneel during the national anthem at games, with Trump calling on the league to fire players who protest during the anthem earlier this year.

I don’t think the contract with the player’s allows being suspended for that.
Trump is having some fun taunting the PC NFL.
Every time the NFL issues a rebuttal they dig their grave deeper.
Trump’s got them down to this one particularly unique and egregious POS, Marshawn Lynch. It’d be great if the left has to line up behind this guy for a few weeks.
A suspension is just the start of a cascade of events Lynch is looking for. He wants to portray himself as a hero of the BLM resistance to all that’s American.

Marshawn Lynch is a certified kook. Trump giving his opinion on Twitter. Using the bully pulpit I suppose although he has no legal authority in the matter. Just comes across like his opinion.
He didn’t break a rule.
Of course the reality is Trumps just mad because the kneeling died down. It was less than half a dozen guys last week, so now he’s gotta stir it up again.

Why is the President still talking about this? I believe it’s because the NFL denied Trump’s bid to buy a team a few years ago. This is petty and small and beneath the office, IMHO.
