It’s certainly a far cry from “Love is the Drug.”
Excellent song. First one i ever heard from Roxy Music.
Bryan Ferry threw my mum out of his party when she told him his music was too repetitive...this was years before everyone else started telling him the same thing! (she worked for a record company)
That was an awesome little-aired song that I always loved, it was and still is unusual to hear it outside of college radio.
Best male vocalist this side of Elvis.
One of my favorite songs.
Slave to Love is my favorite BF song
She is very pretty! I didnt know she was a singer. I knew she was a model. Im also a girl, but still can recognize a unique and beautiful face.
Huge Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry fan here.
Thank you! I love Brian Ferry/Roxy Music, too.
I tried to post a Chris Isaak video earlier - “Wicked Ways” He is another singer with range and beautiful tone.
We have lost so many great singers with unique style; John Denver, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, Tom Petty. I also love the Isley Bros, BeeGees, Simon & Garfunkel, Everly Bros. Too many to count - but they are/were all so much more talented than the crop of guys and gals today who all sound alike, same old junk - I never listen to so-called music stations on the radio anymore.
I meant the Righteous Brothers not the Isley Brothers;)
I'm pretty sure his dad was an actual coal miner!
