The NFL announced Saturday there has been no change in its national-anthem policy despite a Veterans Day campaign to boycott Sundays games over the take-a-knee protests.
Boycott the NFL, a Facebook page with more than 227,000 followers, has called on supporters to tune out Sundays games in solidarity with veterans around the country, while the conservative watchdog group 2ndVote asked fans to stiff-arm the NFL.
Were sending the National Football League, its corporate sponsors, and the television networks a message this Veterans Day weekend! said 2ndVote. Americans are sick of the disrespectful National Anthem protests that the NFL has not only allowed to continue, but has institutionalized in pregame ceremonies.
About 22,000 people have indicated on Facebook that they plan to turn off the television for games.
2ndVote, which monitors corporate political activity, also launched the hashtag #STANDwithVets.

F*CK the NFL.
Almost wish I were still watching so I could quit.
NFL out of the USA!
They don’t belong here.
A damn bloody war was fought that almost divided this nation to free those thankless SOBs. Now, they think they can disrespect our nation and flag and get away with it? Screw you, thugs. GTFO out of our country. Go somewhere else that believes in your BS.
NFL....No Fing Loyalty
Now I have to really keep not watching.
Don’t care. I have Negro Fantigue Syndrome.
That will cut down their revenue. They're already in a downward spiral with injury lawsuits and suburban soccer moms who won't let their lads play football. It'll cause smaller schools to give up football.
Anything that affects the bottom line of the NFL affects the whole league, even those cities that are still filling the stands.
The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.
They're breaking their own rules.
see? it is not just a few idiot disloyal Ahole player jerk*ffs.
IT IS THE LEAGUE MANAGEMENT, TOO!
We won’t ever give one red cent to NFL ever again!
Lets git er done, folks!
For months they have insisted that this was not about service members, vets, those who have fallen. No hiding it now. Let them die on that sword.

Just for the record some people, like yours truly, do not do Facebook.
But I still do not watch the NFL games, any pregame, or sports talk program. And I have purchased exactly zero NFL paraphernalia this year for Christmas.
I bet I am not alone. Therefore, it’s a mistake to think that 227,000 number is all inclusive.

UW Badger Football on in 30 minutes. No NFL for me, anymore.
Any wonder Jerry Jones is trying to oust Goodell?
Yes, but the loophole for the idiot protesters is the word ‘should’, the NFL is too gutless to change it to ‘will’.
