Tonight (Sat) Prelims at 8PM Eastern and Main Card at 10 Eastern on Fox Sports One and Fox Sports GO.
This is pretty good for a Fight Night Card, in honor of Veterans Day.
Main Event, Former LW Champ Anthony "Showtime" Pettis, coming off a win in his return to LW vs. Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier. I was certain I was making that nickname up for him but apparently no, he does use it. (Reference to Dustin Diamond the actor who played "Screech" on "Saved by the Bell". )
Co-Main, Matt Brown vs. Diego Sanchez
Fights with Andrei Arlovski, Nate Marquardt, and Raphael Assunção, as well as Joe Lauzon vs. Clay Guida.
The Prelims are headlined by John Dodson, a couple chick fights on there too.
MMA Ping, let know if you want on/off the list

My picks, later.
Gotta support Poirier, love me some Matt Brown, I’ll take Albini, Ferreira, Assuncao, Guida, not sure what to make of the odds one the Dodson fight, but I’ll take Dodson, I’ll take a chance on Northcutt, and Strickland.
Wish I could pick McGee, but he’s been kinda iffy lately.
lol yup- even if he loses he’s still a crowd pleaser- always enjoyed watchign his fights- and diego sanchez, little evil, Chris leban, leonard garcia and so many more too- and the korean zombie— folks like them really made mma entertaining-
portier
sanchez
arlovski
nate
guida
dodson
McGee
My picks:
Poirier
Brown
Assuncao
Moraes (in what could very easily be FOTN)
Pereira - No idea why she’s the underdog.
Albini
Ferreira - Marquardt is still fighting???
Ansaroff, though Hill has improved a lot since her TUF season.
Strickland
Lauzon
I’ll be rooting for Northcutt but won’t officially pick him. Still not sure if he’s fixed the holes in his game.
Hill
Northcutt
Suarez
Dodson
Guida
Assunção
Ferreira
Albini (sorry Andre)
Brown
Pettis
I’ll take Guida, Assuncao, Marquardt, Albini, Brown, & Poirier
And for the undercard I’ll take Northcutt & I guess Dodson
I didn’t like it when he started Greg Jackson point fighting (see his fight with Gray Maynard, yuck) but he’s back to old self lately. Him and Lauzon should be a fun fight.
Wow Dodson, I'd have taken the full 5 minutes.
Guida curb stomps Lauzon!
Yay!!!!!!
Arlovski wins by decision, breaks his 5 fight losing streak.
cool beans- always liked arlovski’s fighting style- glad to see the losing streak broken hopefully he can come back-
awesome- he’s still a madman- lauzon is no slouch either- very tough fighter- sneaky submissions-
Matt Brown with an amazing elbow KO of Diego Sanchez (unfortunately marred in real time by a technical glitch) in what is expected to be his (Brown’s) final fight.
News, with Anderson Silva popped for a positive drug test, Michael Bisping takes his place in the main event vs. Kelvim Gastelum in the Nov 25th Fight Pass only event, in China.
UFC 218, Frankie Edgar was injured in training and is out of his Dec 2 title fight against Max Holloway, instead Former Champ Jose Aldo steps for a rematch.
Amazing performance by Matt! So happy to see him win. Even after taking a nasty shot to the liver.
I’m picking Gastelum over Bisping.
ALRIGHT LAFAYETTE, LA.! Way to go, Dustin, submission win by body triangle of all things amidst an absolute bloodbath of a match :O
But even more shocking than that, Clay Guida is going bald! I mean of all the people to go bald! The world is coming to an end!
Pettis was injured somehow (something popped or broken rib) or else was just done and that’s why he tapped.
Good scrap, great win for DP. Tough loss for Pettis, back to the drawing board for him yet again. His foes know the gameplan to beat him.
Balding with long hair is definitely an unusual look for Guida, lol.
