Houston Astros Parade

750,000 plus in downtown Houston for the Astros. At the end when the National Anthem was played EVERY player held his hand, or hat, over his heart. Not one player knelt.

Baseball is as American as Apple Pie!

Football is for Negros, Felons, and Liberals.

Joe is probably still hold up in the fetal position.

So true. I was in a Dillards store yesterday and got Hub an Astros World Series cap. As I was walking through the store I passed a Texan merchandise table and gave it a big Bronx Cheer. I think I heard snickering from several people. Made my day. I’m petty I know so save it........;)

I’m not a fan of big crowds so I never go downtown unless I absolutely have to. Today I didn’t even leave my house.

“Football is for Negros, Felons, and Liberals.”

Say what? Liberals hate football, Americans have always loved football until the recent politicization of the game. I played football and have always enjoyed watching my team on Sunday afternoon. When all the pink bs insinuated itself into the NFL I was concerned, the disrespect for the flag & anthem was the nail that put me off it for good. Football has always been for everyone until recent years. Just like your favorite restaurant, everything eventually seems to go downhill for whatever reason it seems.

NO one said you didn’t like football. It means only liberals are invited. They don’t want you.

I’m very proud I supported the Astros against the hated choker Dodgers. I didn’t think the ‘Stros would win and said so here but I was cheering for them all the way. They earned the title the hard way and are the “right stuff”.

I didn’t think they’d win either. I’m happy they did.

Congrats to both the Astros and to the City of Houston. Congrats to MVP George Springer of New Britain and Connecticut fame!
