ah poo- looks like maybe he (machida) is past prime- they ay once you start getting knocked out, that you are on the downhill slide- Hate to see it as he was one of my favorite fighters- Watched Mirko Crocop (sp?) as it happened with him too- another of my all time favorite fighters
There’s no doubt he’s passed him prime but when you can’t take any hits anymore...yeah that’s not good.
To be fair Brunson is a hard hitter who could KO most anybody. But 5 years ago Machida probably dodges that punch.
yeah good point- Machida not quite as quick at avoiding punches now- I haven’t seen brunson fight yet- will have to catch a youtube vid of him fight-

This guy couldn’t stand under his own power at the weigh-in and they let him fight in Japan. Unsurprisingly, he lost. WTF Japan! His trainers should be banned from the sport.

lol- i have a glass jaw inthat i go down quick from a punch- but not out- and bounce right back up- but yeah i wouldn’t have made a good fighter either- plus the bones in my hand break easy- broke my hand just hitting a sand bag once-
Chuck liddell could really take a hit for many years- but then he got to a point where he was getting knocked out- he retired soon after- it just seems like they go for just so long have iron heads, then all of a sudden glass jaws-
