TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
According to a new report released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) the number of cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis reported in the United States reached all-time highs in 2016.
In the U.S., there were 1.6 million cases of chlamydia and 470,000 cases of gonorrhea last year.
“Increases in STDs are a clear warning of a growing threat,” said Jonathan Mermin, M.D., M.P.H., director of CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention. “STDs are a persistent enemy, growing in number, and outpacing our ability to respond.”
The increase has been seen in all genders and sexual orientations.

People scoff at premarital chastity and postmarital fidelity. But those people who do so are taking some big health risks.
Those who observe chastity and fidelity have scant risk of these increasingly problematic diseases. People have choices of how to lives their lives.
Minnesota and Massachusetts are the smartest states in the country?? But they are also among the most liberal.
I suspect it would be far more revealing to overlay this with voting habits by county.
I would be willing to bet that the major cities are most likely worse than the state the city is in.
As by University entrance test standards, anyway.

isn’t it funny how following Christian teachings...the real teachings...also makes for a healthy populace...
Look at the demographics of those states for an explanation.
It’s 2017. I’d 99% of the people I know, are therefore, abominations in the eyes of God.
obviously it should be titled education level not intelligence.
