As far as it being a surprise, it has to be. Teacher's Unions refuse to even acknowledge the Trump administration. Not in inner-city Detroit? One has to wonder if she'd even get a warm welcome at inner-city public schools in Democratic strongholds.
either way there is that angry scowl that accompanies miserable sexually challenged women
Never thought Jackie particularly pretty or superbly dressed...quite ordinary really...and that voice...yikes.
Then Princess Di?
Because it’s my hometown.
I think she will surpass Jackie...
And they bitch about “white-flight”?
Orchard Lake. Must be a bussing thing. These kids pictured do not live there or they are higher income. Very wealthy area.
“”We need to remember that they are always watching and listening.”
So many entertainers have forgotten that, or more likely don’t care.
More fake news from so called “journalists”.
.
I am glad your glad

Jackie wasn’t even pretty, more like.....pleasant.
She was replacing the, being nice, less than photogenic Mamie Eisenhower, the First Lady previous to Mamie had been the older Bess Truman.
Jackie was also only 31 when JFK was elected and the JFK administration was the first to be so prominent on television.
She benefited by her youth and a fawning media.
Jackie was thin (probably the stress and smoking helped) and had delicate bone structure, so she looked good in almost any outfit. I don’t think of her as particularly beautiful.
There was probably a lot of stress being married to the skirt chasing Jack Kennedy.
I saw a documentary some time ago about the Kennedy family.
A guy who used to run with the kennedys said old Joe arranged the marriage from day one.
Joe picked Jackie, called Jack to come home and told him “go in the dining room and meet the woman you are going to marry.”
Jackie had the right social standing, had attended the right schools and had been trained to act like a lady of substance. Plus they looked good together.
There was probably as much love in that marriage as in the Clinton marriage.
Yeah, that was my impression, all for illusion. Like the Camelot myth, invented by Jackie and the media, when I’m sure she was quite aware of the lifestyle her husband was leading.
It took a lot of complicity among parties.
