Comedian and writer Charlyne Yi accused David Cross of directing racist comments towards her — but he has no recollection of the incident.
“I think about the first time I met David Cross ten years ago & he made fun of my pants (that were tattered because I was poor),” Yi, 31, tweeted Sunday. “Dumbfounded I stared at him speechless and he said to me ‘what’s a matter? You don’t speak English?? Ching-chong-ching-chong.'”
“Then after he saw I was offended he asked me if I was going to fight with him karate in a southern accent,” she continued. “Then a few years later he was re-introduced to me after my comedy show with his girlfriend at the time & he said ‘Hi nice to meet you.’ ”

David Cross is an asshole, that’s not a revelation.
He may be, but I really hate these “he said, she said” accusations.
Yeah. If she was offended by his jerk comments, it should’ve been brought up 10 years ago, not now.

Who is David Cross?
If he is a taboo-breaking, edgy comedian, then I have no sympathy whatever for the Asian lady.
Edgy humor is only taboo when it attacks the cherished values of the Left Wing.
Everything is permitted - and applauded - when it attacks the Right.
He’s an extreme lefty.

Well, that’s probably because he was coked up when it happened.
True, but I do think he’s been funny in a few things, unlike a lot of the other lefty comedians. He was good in “Arrested Development” and “Todd Margaret”, at least.

I recognize Cross as a supporting character actor from a couple of things.
I watched some of the House episodes. Don’t remember her though. Probably didn’t see any of the last season though.
Whatever he did "Saul Goodman" will get him off.
He was also on a show called Arrested Development.
Of course he's a jerk. But everybody knows he's a jerk. All the characters he plays are jerks. Even he knows he's a jerk. So he'll probably get away with it.
