We spent a couple of months in drydock in Long Beach In 1970 and one of the sailors we palled around with had a 1968 Firebird 400. It was dark green with black interior and a 4 speed. The guy was a Hawaian with the nickname, naturally, Pineapple. Pineapple let me drive his 400 on the PCH and it was a blast. The weight was real biased to the front and when you got on it in first or second, it was all tire smoke and axle tramp.

“I don’t but I see alot of them driving around the area. Really a blast from the past. Thank all of you that do have one.”
I wish. Reminds me of when America was still America.

1967 Ford Bronco. I parted out a 1976 into it so it has power steering and disc brakes. It has a toploader (close ratio) 4 speed. I’m currently building a Boss 302 with Aussie 351c heads. It will have the mustang Boss 302 stripes. It already has BOSS 302 embroidered on the custom seats.
I have owned it since 1983 (when I was 19). Paid $1500 for it...my dad thought I was crazy (he still does).
Next project after the Bronco is a 1966 Sunbeam Alpine (Tiger clone). I’m going to stroke a 351w out to 427 and put 351c 4v heads on it to make a BOSS 427 (I love Cleveland heads).
I recently bought a 1939 Ford COE for after the Sunbeam. Not sure exactly what I’ll do to it.

no dice. RIP Myron

I do still have the Shlitz beer tap handle that was on the stick shift

Yes! Sort of. It’s an offroad car. 850HP, 5 speed, and does wheelies in the sand.

I have several. A 1965 Falcon Sprint w/a 30 over 302-4bbl on top of an aluminum intake-mild street cam-headers-4 speed. My son and I restored the car 35+ years ago and have driven it to much of the eastern/northeastern part of the country. We are now working on a 66 Mustang coupe restomod. It has a 281 (4.6) aluminum 4 cam 4 valve engine from an 03 Mach 1. We also used the 5 speed from the 03. We also adapted the 03 shaker hood to fit the 66. Mustang 2 front end and I won’t bore you with the rest of it. You can see the Falcon in my profile.

Ok, so how’s this for muscle. I have a 1974 VW type 182. The chassis is all completely redone, new condition. Bought a block from Brazil and built a “monster” 1800cc engine. When I say monster, think stock. Even though they came with smaller engines. I suck at body work, so it isn’t legally driveable, but if there are any SoCal freepers into body work, I would be willing to negotiate.

1970. Chevelle Malibu. Red with vinyl top. It has been sitting in my pole barn for last 18 years and a garage prior to that. Last time I drove it I think was 1990...and then life happened.

I owned A Sunbeam Tiger 2 way back when. There were only 300 of the Tiger 2 brought into the country. My wife made a little seat on the shelf behind the seats and my 2 young sons rode there. If we did that today we would be arrested.

1990 4x4 Suburban 4x4. Beats most 2wd “muscle cars” off the line in the Winter...

Way fun for the first 200 ft.

In 1965 one of my friends had a 65 Falcon. I can’t recall if it was a 260 or 289 but it was pretty hot. It had an auto on the floor, nothing done to it but I always wanted one of them.
