No fair, they scored more points than we did. :(
Loud and proud in eastern Iowa!
He is actually not that great of a QB.
But he has been playing on the scout team, and didn’t know the plays. So they had to run a different set of plays than Oklahoma planned on.
Oklahoma is the one who is looking pretty bad. They got beat by a team with no depth, no top star talent, and at home.
Oklahoma was supposed to be in the playoffs this year.
Grew up going to Nebraska games. Loved it.
However, the BEST thing for Nebraska as a state and a school is for the emphasis on football to go away. I went to Iowa State because Nebraska just didn’t want to have much of an engineering school. Tons of money for players to have private scooters, five star dining, and enough money to buy a car after graduating in exercise studies.
To many schools only function as farm teams for the NBA and NFL.

It’s been 27 years, so you really can’t blame the Clones.
But it’s still a hertz donut, ain’t it?
You probably saw this; hope it doesnt come back to haunt us in a couple of years!:
Its ISU. We are not supposed to win. Or be good. Or even play football.
So planting a flag in Norman has little to do with the next game, because we will probably come out and throw passes to the other team and forget to tie our shoes.
But we seem to have a thing for teams from Oklahoma.
My daughter and I were at the Ok State game in 2011; an amazing night!
A great win today.
Absolutely love the story of Joel Lanning.
Completely selfless and doing whatever the team needed. Old school playing both sides of the ball and doing it very well.
Very cool!
Time for me to get to another game, KU is at home next week
Clemson played a not very good Wake Forest team in Death Valley and had trouble putting them away, allowing over a 100 yards rushing. Wake also played their 2nd string quarterback. Alabama played a verg good Texas A&M team on the road, went up 24 to 3, then took their foot off the pedal, winning 27 to 19. How Clemson beats up on ACC schools and remains #2 is crazy.
