Ditto. With the kneeling business, the felons, the wife-beaters... I just found that I couldn't continue to watch and remain true to my values. I don't actively "hate" the NFL. I just don't care anymore.As I wrote to Budweiser - whether or not you stop advertising it won't matter to me because there will be no viewing of NFL. BTW I did switch from Bud to Miller High Life, which I drank yrs ago.

I'm not much of a beer drinker any more, but Miller was my choice back in the day.
These days, when I have one or two, I tend to opt for Jack Daniels or /Grey Goose.
Vodka tonics are refreshing in the summer. Beer tends to be heavy, and makes me sleepy.

The NFL has successfully moved itself into the condition usually associated with wearing a new pair of shoes that causes blisters. You want to get them off as quickly as possible, leaving you with a painful memory. Great post!

A couple at work that are were everything NFL, always talking about it, live and breath it said in the office today they are not watching NFL.
