Yeah, that’s a mistake that a seasoned PIO should never make. Wounded should always mean by some time of wielded weapon.

<<< 9) WHY the heck does he transport that amount of guns into a hotel room? >>>

If Paddock was dealing in illegal weapons - and not a millionaire gambler / real estate guru - the weapons in his suite were sales samples for customer meetings.

I skimmed enough of the article that my eyes glazed over.

You must truly consider the source of the article.

This is not worth discussion, too many points that are pure nonsense.

I’m not saying there are not unanswered questions, there are. The Sheriff Lombardo stated that clearly. Lets give him a little time to expose some of them.

There may be some in DC who don’t want that to happen, but that is another issue.

“...it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes.”

I’m betting a fair number of the injured we from trampling once the panic kicked on and it was a tidal wave of humanity running for cover. A lot of people tripping. falling, getting run over and hurt.

I don’t even understand why this is a prominent question. Hotels don’t monitor everyone going to and fro throughout the day, especially if they are a regular there. Obviously he hid them in duffel bags, suitcases, maybe even golf club bags and casually brought them up to his room a little at a time.

“#2 Were there additional shooters? A taxi driver reportedly captured video of an automatic weapon being fired out of a lower level window. A video from another angle and brief footage captured by Dan Bilzerian also seem to confirm that automatic gunfire was coming from a floor much lower than the 32nd floor room that Stephen Paddock was located on. And if you weren’t convinced by the first three videos, this fourth video should definitely do it.”

Wait a sec.. Dan Bilzerian ? That guy should be a damned suspect.

I’m sorry, I’m not captivated by that schmuck like everyone else seems to be. Remember that he loaned Hillary Clinton a plane a few times. And while that sorta thing can happen (I’m aware of private plane ownership) it still reeks of lies.

Bilzerian is a hoser of the nth degree and should be shunned. Just my two cents.

But my original comment on this, before seeing his name involved, is that multiple attackers seem very possible (Not yet occum’s razor style of possible but still gaining steam) that means that no where is safe anymore.

and if right wing people are being targeted, then I fear it’s war.

“Far from being a Navy Seal, Stephen Paddock is a retired accountant senior citizen with a gambling problem and a flabby physique.”

Jesse Ventura ?

While he’s regarded by some (most) to be a total weenie, his claims of being a SEAL are confirmed. I’ve seen SEALS in their prime doing amazing stuff, and I imagine that most in their flabby, old status (Hey, I’m there I can say that) would also be a threat to contend with.

What happened to the active shooter incidents at three other casinos (at the same time Paddock was self-selecting for extinction?

What happened to the IED they “confirmed” at a fourth location?

“#5 How in the world did Paddock get 42 guns and “several thousand rounds of ammo” into his hotel room without anyone noticing?”

Camera equipment. Even small YouTube filming events involve TONS of camera bags and luggage that is oft-overlooked and yet can fit all of this stuff.

If the mags used were loaded 40/50 rounders (Like pictured) the weight and sound and carrier-ship of them would resemble camera and lighting equipment. And people are forming small film crews everywhere these days. You can walk 3 guys past security with 100 bags by putting Youtube hats on them (Or Girls Gone Wild hats, Rocketjump, etc)

If you needed to move that equipment there are kids available everywhere who would do that for you, for free if it’s camera equipment. Not saying that happened because these kids haven’t talked yet if they were employed but I’m just saying.

If you need to get 42 rifles to a hotel room, there are plenty of ways to do it without raising a single eyebrow.

Oh, and to finish that thought this guy fits the profile of a pornographer to a T. There is a big chance that he was lured there for a porno party and the rest of the crew left him to patsy the place up.

I dunno. Tons of possibilities. Remember that law enforcement leave details out of public reports so they can use real details to confirm witness testimony.

Thank you. Responses are a blend of my views and the previous thread:

#1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. Why hasn’t the public been told what is in that note?
[I’ll ignore this - dumb question if there is an investigation in progress. You want answers from the person interviewed, not from what they heard on CNN.]

#2 Were there additional shooters? A taxi driver clearly captured video of an automatic weapon being fired out of a lower level window. A video from another angle and brief footage captured by Dan Bilzerian also seem to confirm ...
- These rhythmic flashes came from the fire alarm, which flashes to warn the deaf. Either that, or there was a stealth shooter shooting completely silent bullets that hit no one an hour after the event was over.

#3 Why were law enforcement authorities discussing “another suspect on the fourth floor”, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this?
- Fog of war. That was a false report based on someone seeing the flashes of the fire alarm, interpreting that as a second shooter, and reporting what they thought they saw.

#4 As Jon Rappoport has pointed out, it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes of shooting with the kinds of weapons that he is alleged to have used. So why won’t law enforcement authorities acknowledge this fact?
- Hitting 500 people in ten minutes with full auto would be shockingly easy. This was not aimed precision fire; it was area denial from overwatch, targeted on 22,000 people packed into two acres. It’s easy to keep a full-auto weapon on an area that large and hard not to hit several hundred people at random in ten minutes of shooting at a crowd that big and dense.

#5 How in the world did Paddock get 42 guns and “several thousand rounds of ammo” into his hotel room without anyone noticing?
- Suitcases. It takes less than a minute to separate the upper and lower of an AR into separate pieces (think of them as the stock and the barrel), both of which easily fit in a suitcase. And ammo? I’ve carried several hundred rounds to the range many times. Thousands? That’s what suitcases are for.
- It’s Vegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. No one asks questions.

#6 How did someone with “no military background” and that wasn’t a “gun guy at all” operate such advanced weapons?
- It’s easy with a .223. You point and pull the trigger. It’s more work with a .308, but that would just beat up your shoulder. It’s also Nevada. The entire terrain is filled with bluffs. You sit on a cliff in the middle of nowhere and pull the trigger. Practice hosing down two acres 300 yards from the base of the cliff until you get good at it. I’d guess one practice was enough. I’d also guess he did extra practices (.223 only, because that much .308 would hurt!) to enjoy the fantasy and wallow in evil.

#7 Why was one woman telling people in the crowd that they were all going to die 45 minutes before the attack?
- Evidence that this happened at all?

#8 Why did it take law enforcement authorities 72 minutes to get into Stephen Paddock’s hotel room?
- Because he stopped shooting at 10 or 12 minutes. Because he had been shooting .308 and their body armor would not stop that. Because there may have been indications or concerns about explosives and they wanted to evacuate the other rooms. Mostly because the cops were professionals, and they made the right decision based on the calmer tactical situation.

#9 Why did Paddock wire $100,000 to the Philippines last week?
- Because he expected to die and wanted to buy gratitude and fond memories from his rather odd girlfriend.

#10 Why was Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, in the Philippines when the attack took place? Did she know what was about to happen?
- Finally, a good question. I’d like to know that answer . . . once the investigation is complete and not before.

#11 Was Paddock on antidepressants like so many other mass killers in the past have been?
- Yes. This may be part of what triggered the attack.

#12 Why was ISIS so eager to take responsibility for this attack, and why was the FBI so quick to dismiss that connection?
- Because ISIS lies.
- Because today’s FBI lies.

#13 Apparently Paddock had earned millions of dollars “through real estate deals”. If he was so wealthy, why would he all of a sudden snap like that?
- Wealthy people are allowed top be crazy too.

#14 Why did he move so frequently? It is being reported that Paddock had 27 different residences during his adult life.
- He seems to have had difficulty relating to people (no debate on that point!). Nothing would tie that sort of man to one location.

#15 Why were nearly all of the exits out of the concert venue completely blocked?…
- Exits are often difficult to use, in part because otherwise people let friends in “for free” through the exits.
- Any shooter who has planned this sort of attack would attack the exits early on, to block their use and keep the victims corralled longer. Of course the exits were blocked.

#16 Why was a country music festival chosen as the target? Was the goal to kill as many Trump supporters and other conservatives as possible? And is there evidence that Stephen Paddock was connected to Antifa in any way?
- A good question. We will probably find out. The FBI should not talk about this until they are done interviewing people. Again, we don’t want their answers to be what they heard on MSNBC. We want their answers to be based on what they know from personal observation.

The last eight lines of this post destroy its credibility.
It has already been established that Volant LLC and Volant Associates aren’t the same company, and that this Rogers guy had no association with Paddock.

Are both companies run by the same people? Just asking

Has anyone here tried to use a “bump stock”?
-I have. I don’t own one but have shot one. Almost impossible to keep a constant uninterrupted fire rate without gaps in the firing.

Has anyone else here heard the uninterrupted fire from an M240?
-I have.

The videos sound like a fully automatic weapon. Not a bumpstock AR or AK.

JMHO.

“Where are the thousands of spent shells and why aren’t they scattered all over the hotel room?”

Forum members would be well-advised to abandon their attitude of “I know what I know and that’s that.”

First, this event, while horrifying, was not some monumental feat of marksmanship within the abilities of only some secret SOCOM super-soldier. Range from firing point to target area was about twice point blank (if artillerists still use that term): only slightly more challenging than clearing a room with a submachine gun.

Second, a semester of college-level instruction is not needed, to operate an AR-15-type rifle. The greenest of neophytes can learn the basics and become drilled to proficiency in less than an hour. Most of the rest of training on arms like these involves “long range marksmanship” (hold steady and squeeze), assembly and disassembly, stoppage reduction, field maintenance, coordination of fire and maneuver with squadmates, etc. None of which the perp needed, to do his foul deeds.

Third, firing an AR-15-style rifle is not physically demanding. Not even on full auto: it was designed and built that way on purpose. Besides that, endurance of recoil and chillingly precise ability in marksmanship doesn’t require the bench-pressing of 500 pounds, nor sprinting 100 meters in 15 seconds carrying full combat gear and a 75 kilo rucksack. I’ve watched slender little girls pick up firearms they can barely lift, soak up bone-jarring recoil from hot magnum loads, and score better than 250-pound he-men. Way, way better.

Fourth, I did see large numbers of empty cartridge cases lying around - in the few images that have leaked. They look like 5.56x45mm NATO cases, which are not very big. 1,000 live rounds can pack into a volume of less than one cubic foot. The weight of such a packgae is somewhat surprising, but still not terribly heavy.

They are located in two places that are about as far apart as you can get in Virginia — the D.C. area and Roanoke.

I would guess that this guy had the best quality bumpfire available. I would also guess that he practiced, adjusted, lubricated, etc. Money and a year of planning/practice can do wonderful things for effectiveness. He also had several jams. Instead of troubleshooting, the report is he switched weapons. That was (at least part of) the purpose of so many bumpstock weapons. Apparently, he had the .308 (.308s?) to try to shoot through a fuel tank. The .223s were so he could shoot thousands of rounds without breaking his shoulder. Unlike the larger .308, thousands of .223 are no big deal, no worse than .22LR.

I suspect the scopes were used - during brief pauses for the sadistic joy of watching reactions. They would also have been used to watch as his weapon tracked across the killing ground so he would be sure when it was time to release the trigger.

Was there a back door? He rented a second room. Was that merely a bedroom in the same suite, or a second suite adjacent to his, which had a door between them?

Has anybody ever heard of the father Benjamin Hoskins Paddock being a bank robber before this? Whole fact could be made up.

At any rate Benjamin Hoskins Paddock here,

Bears a resemblance to the guy in the 5th row 2nd across in these Antifa mugshots.
