What don't these liberal Billionaires understand about our tax system... The tax bill is a minimum the government wants, if anybody feels undertaxed, they can write a larger check for however much more they want to add.

How do I make a contribution to the U.S. government?

Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called “Gifts to the United States.”

This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs.

These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

Gifts to the United States
U.S. Department of the Treasury
Funds Management Branch
P.O. Box 1328
Parkersburg, WV 26106-1328

Dear lucky billionaire. Whereas I’m not at all impressed with your intellect, I do respect your success. That said, I’m not a billionaire, and I would like my taxes lowered. Thank you very much for volunteering to pickup my tab.

Does he take any deductions or structure his money in any way to defer taxation?

If he wants to pay more taxes he is more than welcome to pay mine.

I would send him a personally hand written thankyou note and a Christmas card every year.

I think he’s lying. Steyer is trying to claim this is just a tax break for the “rich.” If he’s not lying, he can stop yapping and just make out a check for millions and send it to the IRS. Trump can add it to the build-the-wall fund.

Dear Tom, please voluntarily pay more and convince the people in your circles to follow suit by setting the example.
Signed,
Everyone else.

..said the socialist hedge fund manager. But Tommy, why wait for your taxes to be raised. Why don’t you release your tax returns and show us how much extra you voluntarily paid in taxes over what you owed.

It would be interesting to see just what the politics of the uber-rich are. If they are 75% liberals (which is likely the case), I have NO ISSUE with some serious taxation.

To put it another way, as a not-so-rich conservative, I’m tired of PROTECTING the fortunes of people who want me locked up or dead.

Rich leftists should be taxed at 100% above minimum wage.

“Does he take any deductions or structure his money in any way to defer taxation?”

He pays people to do that for him. All he has to do is let those people go and take everything as regular income. He’ll be astonished at how much more he gets to pay in taxes.

Tom,
Let me tell you how you can get what you want.

Write a check.

Make it out to the US Treasury.

Write the amount you wish to donate.

Put in an envelope, Address it to the IRS.

Lick a stamp, affix it and put it in a mailbox.

Now stop your caterwauling drama.

Yours truly,

chickensoup

It’s really quite amusing how these left wing billionaires whine about taxes so they leave a paper trail of “I did my best and volunteered to pay more but oh well” crapola.

It is indeed as easy as putting your money where your mouth is and stroking a check. A guy like this has a thousand ways of dodging any tax increases and he knows it. Now he’s on record and he can go his merry way.

You have to love it when they talk like that. This is how they make their wealth different than others and insulate themselves from attacks by the left. Tell him there will be a 50% increase on dividends and he’ll squeal like a pig. Buffet did the same thing with his comment about his secretary paying more in taxes than him. He limited his salary and lived on dividends, she had only salary taxed at 35%, his dividends were taxed at 15%. He failed to mention that part.

Steyer is he single largest political campaign donor. In 2016 he gave $90 million to left wing groups, Apparently that didn’t work out so well for him......

Mr Steyer .. you can gift any amount of your billion plus to the government at any time.

Please be generous with your OWN money and stop trying to virtue signal whilst you are REALLY, in fact, trying to be generous with other people’s money.

Stop trying to give at the voting booth!

You notice they always want to raise the “income tax”. They never say they want a “wealth tax”.
