On the contrary. This is the perfect time AND the perfect tactic to use on "progressives". The one thing they absolutely cannot stand is for a conservative to show them up for the idiots they are. Inertia. Any good gunsmith knows the BCG is just an autofire-interrupter. I mean, if it weren't for that buffer-tube buffering the rate of fire, it can just run and run.
Ditto on the handgun... the spring just adds a delay to the firing rate. You know... the time it takes to compress/decompress that spring limits things, so if you remove it, it's free fire. The only limit then is how quickly the next round gets inertially funneled into the chamber. I thought everyone knew that, but it's cool this guy is sharing what I thought was common knowledge.

The bolt forces the round into the chamber and also sets the hammer in the cocked position after the round is fired . Without the bolt and carrier I can not see how the round gets from the clip to the chamber without the bolt mechanism . Explain that .

Actually it wouldn't be messy at all because nothing would happen without those key components in the firearms. If someone forced a round into the chamber of the Sig; there could be a problem but I would hope anyone who owns a Sig is smarter than that.
