As an Uber driver, I refuse to pick up any paying rider to or from the game. So I take Sunday’s off when the team is playing at home.
When I go to the grocery store by me, there is a section of the store, right across from the registers, that is just packed with Seattle Seahawks gear. T-shirts, pennants, beads, etc.
I have been walking past it for 2 weeks and the merchandise is simply not moving. This is another place where there will be a financial hit.
I do feel sorry for the people who run the concession and souvenir stands. They will be hurt through no fault of their own.
