I’m sure he’s not the only soft-handed NFL desk jockey making bank.

What we have in the “United” States, is not a united country.

What we have are two countries pretending that we can all get along. Being in denial about the realities will just cause a lot more grief and stress for the next few decades and perhaps forever. This country is not a single country, as long as the national divide indicates that we are not a “United States”.

The country will eventually have to come to grips with the reality that we can’t continue to exist with so many different ways of thinking and governing.

Perhaps California needs to go its own way, and we’ll take it from there, with perhaps NY and Massachusetts being next in line to leave the “union”. A more perfect union is not what we have, and it’s actually a very fractured “country”.

Hear that, NFL players? 44 million a year to subject you to a lifetime of brain damage and knee replacements.

We are boycotting the NFL, the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft and Gillette (razors) which Kraft owns!

Quote: “but they can’t pick and choose the public reaction.”

Ahh, but the in totalitarian world in which the leftist mind inhabits they think they can. They just label any reaction that doesn’t comport to their world view as being racist or my favorite, “hate/fascism.” Then, they sick their media storm troopers on anyone who dare not comply. It was working well until Trump came along.

In this case it is a win win for the left. They hate football and want to end it. If this fight keeps up, football is over by virtue of their own fans abandoning it. The left’s useful idiots are the players who are too dumb or brain damaged (as the left would have you believe) to realize they are biting the hand that feeds them much less realize what the hand is.

This is just the latest battle. Previously, there was the Battle of Charlottesville and the Battle of Berkley .

As a VN era enlistee in the USN, I feel personally disrespected by this show of contempt to the Country I served with honor and put my life on the line for. I was an avid football fan, but have not tuned in for one second yet this season. Business based sports are dead to me.

Negotiated separation is the most bloodless path forward

I can't see it happening that way. The unAmericans want the money of Americans, but more than that, IMO they want power over them.

Yep. The League office has a bunch of million-dollar-plus execs, like VPs in charge of something, lawyers, and ‘outside’ consultants like former NFL league office execs.

Can it possibly happen non-violently? Who gives up their state? Who gives up their home?

Damn, man. Just think. All that money going to people who never put their bodies at risk. Just think of how much better the players' pensions and benefits could be if that money wasn't going to all those (mostly white, no doubt) executives rolling in all that dough.

You pickin' up what I'm layin' down, NFL Players?

This is AstroTurf of a different type.

these are manufactured protests to incite turmoil.
A no talent quarterback kneels to protest the historical abuses of black people. The media latches on to it to generate attention. It goes viral.

The media redefines the protest as being against Trump and America. Trump labeled a white supremacist and blacks jump in to the fray. The media ups the volume. Trump fights back. Democrats are overjoyed because the voters don't like tension and will surely turn on Trump.

Yo, NFL players! Ya hear that? Your boy, Goodell, be makin' bank. For what? You're the one who ends up with broken brains and knees and you make a pittance compared to him.

Goodall doesn't know if yet, but the anti American knee takers will come for him too.

Case in point is what the "Dreamers" did to Nancy Pelosi.

Golly. I sure hope people don't get the idea that I am fomenting that.
