McConnell needs to go to planting tobacco and hog farming back in Kentucky, he sure doesn’t belong as Senate Leader.
I can agree with that, principled perfection obstruction isn’t his problem. He’s just a flat out never trumper obstructionist.
sorry, nothing Personal :)
From your mouth to God’s ears.
I hope the crowd doesn’t let politeness inhibit them.
I take it you didn’t listen to the debate. Your comment is the kind of slur McConnell’s team has been spreading but the real man doesn’t give that impression at all.
OK. Trump is backing Strange, means Trump is using Strange as leverage to me, perhaps to get the Graham Cassidy bill vote....Doesn’t mean we need to elect this corrupt lobbyist who is hiding behind Trump’s shadow and waffles like the wind.
“Thank the geniuses in Kentucky for that...”

Don’t forget to thank the geniuses in Wisconsin for Ryan.
Partisan much?
Roy Moore says he is 100% in support of President Trump’s agenda and he will fight for it in Congress. He was at one time a Cruz supporter, many good & honest patriots were fooled by that man.
Its intellectually dishonest of you to post such smears.
The debate last night made it crystal clear. On the one hand an honorable man who loves this country and is angry about the swamp, on the other hand a clinging self-serving, self promoting swamp dweller whose real allegiance is to McConnell not to POTUS.

“the problem is the Great Unwashed dont get to vote for dumb dumb... or i should say against.
Thank the geniuses in Kentucky for that...”
I’m from the Commonwealth. Unfortunately, Mitch is the 900lb gorilla in the Commonwealth and the Senate, but to refresh your memory, the majority of Freepers stated it was more important to take control of the Senate than to remove McConnell.
Oh i remember that... but then what good is it to have the senate..and still not get anything done?
I did not because ultimately I don’t care who wins. I just know that people like Moore (at least based on what i’ve heard about him from his supporters) are great in theory but don’t work out when you’re in power because if he doesn’t get what he wants he’ll always be a hard no (Rand Paul). That works fine when you’re trying to stop something but not when you’re trying to fix something. You aren’t going to get a hard right bill through the Senate unless you have 50 “Moore” types (and even then they probably couldn’t agree with each other enough to do it). Strange is probably willing to do incremental changes like the current Healthcare proposal. I suspect this is why Trump wants Strange. Someone who won’t just say no to everything.
I think you owe it to yourself to watch. I don’t think you can say “people like Moore” without seeing how he holds up under pressure and what he thinks is important enough to say when minutes are measured.
I have liked Moore because men of principle who will sacrifice for their principles are few & far between. I was afraid to watch the debate because of the things people have said (mostly political enemies) about him being rigid and unwilling to compromise. I was reluctant to put him to the test lest I be disappointed.
Watching that debate was the best use of an hour I could have made. Roy Moore did not disappoint me. He will be a real asset in the Senate, an honest man, solid in his love of the country and in his convictions, committed to POTUS agenda & eager to MAGA. He will be to the right of many but that will give balance.

Ya know.....I just thought of something. Maybe Mitch McConnell will not show up this evening, which would be on par for this low life Trump hater and failed Senate Leader!!! Shucks...ya all should boo him big time, anyway.
We will all be listening for those massive boos for traitor, turncoat, useless, Mitch McConnell!!!
My reply was about McConnell, not Moore. Read the post I was replying to.
So sorry. I read your post in the context of the OP, I didn’t see that yours was a response to 21. Thanks for the correction.
Thanks, I saw what happened and everything is fine.
towards the end of the speech, a few cheers for trump’s endorsement of luther strange.
“you can’t always get what you want” played after the speech.
