Tell a good story without CGI, and people will be flocking to the theatre.
The monkeys in Hollywood are not entertaing anymore. They are mostly vile swamp monsters .

The writers are idiots and have no imagination and less vocabulary skills than a gorilla.
Actors and actresses can't act their way out of a wet, torn brown paper bag and the mumble!
CGI is NOT a replacement for good writing, good acting, good directing, nor REAL stuff !
Blatant porn/sex is NOT necessary at all!
Photographing movie scenes in the dark NEVER 1) sets the mood 2)makes it "real" 3)makes anything more interesting !
BRING BACK USHERS AND MATRONS TO TELL PEOPLE TO SHUT UP, TURN OFF THE CELL PHONE, AND THROW OUT THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE IN A THEATRE !
I paid $16 in Brooklyn. Meh, it was okay. Took the kids to see the latest Spider-Man relaunch and it was really good and entertaining. $10 for tickets in Maryland, but the theater had motorized recliners and assigned seating.
Gee...I wonder if could have anything to the hypocritical assholes staring in them!!!
“Couldnt happen to more deserving scum.”
I can’t bear politically correct “entertainment.” Casting a woman to play an action role where she can KO a brute 150 pounds heavier makes me roll my eyes. Black characters in historic places where they either weren’t there at all or couldn’t play the role they have in the movie are a turnoff. The mandatory gay couple; turnoff. Forced plots; turnoff. But my biggie is knowing the actor on the screen is an anti-American liberal in his real life; that’s a leave the theater turnoff.
Those television shows that are eating their lunch, what is it about them? They’re originals, not derivative copies or remakes of something else. I understand the risk aversion to gambling that much money, but at some point you either throw the dice on something new or lose what you thought was a sure thing because it did so well the last three times.
Don’t forger the $8.00 popcorn!!
“Elitist actors”
You’re to kind.
Why watch a crummy $13 remake movie where a small drink and popcorn cost another $10, when you can watch something at home for free and make your own food?
My give a shit meter has not moved.
That's you and your wife. Have you looked to see what's out there?
Astro Boy and Speed Racer were anime.
All the ads I see on TV are for absolutely sick horror flicks that are straight out of some demonic hell. Never darken the door of a theater.

DEFUND socialists.
“No one can fully explain why.”
Uh, could it be that they’re churning out nothing but overpriced video-game level propaganda garbage that lacks character, drama, story, dialog and acting, while their cable and streaming competitors are producing voluminous, imaginative, and spell-binding entertainment that can be had in the comfort of one’s living-room along with healthy and inexpensive beverages and snacks without having to rub shoulders with rude scum yacking it up on cell phones and screaming babies and at a cost of only a few dollars per month?
Is it POSSIBLE that THAT fully explains why?
Last time I checked; my wife and I are part of ‘everybody’. Anime makes us barf.
Thanks, I love to hear that. My last movie ticket was in 1981 Apocalypse Now.
I have never witnessed such politically correct crap in my life. Nothing is real. It is all make believe for retards. We want Westerns and killing Indians again or we are not going to spend the money!!Get lost.
Quit shoveling shit at us and maybe we’ll pay to go to the movies again.
