When you talk to a politician...ANY politician...always say, “Remember Ceausescu”
I like the way you think.

Watched one movie Cars 3... When you have remakes of movies I didn't watch when it came out the first time, movies based on TV shows I didn't watch or a historical figure that became black (King Arthur). What's next? A black starting in a Bruce Lee movie remake or a Black James Bond??

Crappy movies + expensive tickets + superior alternatives on TV/Streaming = Low ticket sales. Not to mention middle America thumbing their noses at the Hollywood Left. After all, the entertainment industry supposedly donated $300 million to the Hillary Clinton campaign and she still lost. Look at the continuing temper tantrum from the Hollywood Left and you wonder why movie box office revenue is down in 2017.

I haven’t seen it. And the only English dub anime I’ll watch is Dragonball Z. Everything else is horrible. Have you listened to Sword Art Online in English? It’s ruined.

I love TCM. Find myself checking to see what’s on daily. Don’t watch FOX news at all anymore and Dobbs has been on vacation. They actually had on Blazing Saddles night before last. Hilarious! Won’t be long before they quit playing it.

That sounds like a flop in the making.

Don’t tell me people are tired of seeing zombies and transformers already.....

I was in the Hospital for 3 days and got sick of watching the news and turned on TCM I really enjoyed some of the older movies. Watching Hitchcock movies, and then some Natalie Wood flicks. She was great and so beautiful.

Boycotts work.
Boycott Hollywood. It’s the only way to be sure.

Then have ARMED POLICE in the theatres; though YOU must go to some terrible ghetto theatres, to imagine that the shushing would bring death.

Thanks for the recommendation - I’ll go search for it. We watched a few here and there when the kids were young but my daughter and her friends all “all anime” now. That and k-pop, j-pop. She’s an adult now and that’s probably going to be her thing for a while.

Yes, I also check to see what’s on. I then have the dvr record it if a movie is on at the wrong time for me.

I have a rich trove of very special olde English words but try to restrain myself.
