"Proud to be an American" played at Long Beach Tiki Festival

Long Beach has an annual Tiki Festival that is a small family oriented event but that also gets some pretty good Hawaiian and Polynesian dance groups for entertainment. I dropped by this morning and was surprised and happy to hear Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" playing just as I walked up. One of the Hawaiian dance groups played it as the young ladies did a slow "hula" to the music. It was very well done and the crowd loved it. Just wanted to share a refreshing patriotic moment from a place you would not expect.

The crowd here was a typical diverse SoCal group enjoying good food, drink and music. Antifa must not have gotten the word on this event or else I'm sure they would have been there to spread their hate and venom.

Thanks for the post. Glad you had fun! North Carolina has a Polynesian festival, oddly enough, somewhere over between Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune.
