Georgia College STEM course lets entitled students choose grades, opt-out of homework, and leave student groups with new stress policy.

University of Georgia campus descends further into emotionally-immature amateur hour with participation trophy policy to reduce college students’ stress, reducing a STEM course to little more than an “adulting” version of Kindergarten Nap-Time

In a stunning but not-to-surprising example of the deteriorating quality of education and discipline in America’s universities, A UoG STEM college course in data management has adopted what they call a “Stress Reduction Policy”.

This stress policy, in all its extravagant methods of stroking students’ over-inflated egos, essentially give entitled students the right to request the grades they want, opt-out of group assignments, and leave student groups without giving an explanation. All of this, says class instructor Rick Watson, can be done on the grounds of feeling stressed about inferior grades and inadequate performance.

Makes me SERIOUSLY glad I have no degrees from that institution. Apparently no one in upper management has figured out that they are cutting their own throats.

Potential employers should note that students with lower grades would be, on average, much more tolerant to stress.

I have ALWAYS dreamed of Playing QB in the NFL

Don’t let the fact that I am 78, weight not proportion to height (Ok... I am in shape. ROUND is a shape so STFU).

So as long as facts aren’t/can’t be used I do expect to start for the Redskins this season.

Text me in time to suit up for the first game, I feel I shouldn’t have to overextend myself with training camp, I will play myself into shape...

An entire generation is coming of age unable to handle normal life stress, unable to make tough but necessary decisions, unable to roll with the punches and bounce back.

Oh, Trump was on TV. I feel stressed. Gimme an A. Just shows that a degree is worth nothing any more.

I’m going to request an “A”, too. Even though I’m not enrolled, the course credit may be worth something!

Anyone who has a previous degree from this college should demand a refund if they don’t get a retroactive 4.0 + GPA

Upper management saw it and it is history ... according to YESTERDAY'S news.

Three thoughts: 1. The nuns would have beat me senseless if I asked for this kind of foolishness.

2. These are STEM students (I am a PhD in a STEM-y field). Of ALL the people who need to get good grades that truthfully reflect their work in a course, it’s STEM students.

3. I’ve been on doctoral and masters admissions committees. I’d have to think twice before letting one of these snowflakes into a graduate program.

It would have been nice if the poster had put up an article from yesterday instead of two days ago ...
