Not bad for writing inane endless stories about 6th graders that never have anything happen or change.

“An astounding fortune of £11.5 billion makes 46-year-old Kirsty Bertarelli the wealthiest woman in the UK. “

No, below the hard deck doesn’t count Maverick. You don’t get to wander around claiming to be the richest woman because you humped a billionaire.

Actually, I have seen bigger yachts. Hers is “only” 97 meters in length. I saw a 100 meter yacht with a helicopter on board. I like a nice practical woman like Kristy who lives within her means.

Buddy of mine has a nice fishing boat. He said the next time he feels like buying a new one, he'll just dig a hole in his backyard and burn money in it, instead. Will be cheaper in the long run.

I'm sending him this article. At 250K pounds a throw, just to gas it up, a new bass boat will look positively thrifty.

It’s called ‘money to burn!’

I guess using it is better than sticking it in a huge vault like Scrooge McDuck.

I saw the Forbes magazine yacht in the early 1990s. It had a small, maybe 2-person helo stowed on deck. Wrapped in canvas, that is.

It also had a guy in a kilt, bagpiping people aboard for a party.

Up in Bar Harbor, iirc.
