She’s sweet on Wagner
I think she’d die for Beethoven
She loves the way Puccini lays down a tune
And Verdi’s always creeping from her room

Oogabooga “music”. Tarzan say Umgowa!
Their wishlist includes many shows that enjoy greatly.
Hip-hop dominates online streaming, which is also the medium affected by rampant click fraud. See https://qz.com/615359/steady-chunks-of-money-are-being-quietly-illicitly-stolen-from-music-streaming/
There is no real music anymore. There’s rap with a drum machine, there’s sample loops, keyboards making noises from cheesy video games, and Autotune. Hip hop and EDM has been the death of music.
They have quite the collection.
There are maybe a dozen or so still on the wish list.
If you like Dr. Who and other British Sci Fi stuff, try Big Finish Productions.
I'll give you two, from Blackalicious:
The soundtracks from Inspector Morse have lots of classical music.
Some mornings in the office, I play them.
Very few actual musicians in Hip Hop. If it weren’t for the studio sound engineers it wouldn’t exist. A lot of Rock ‘n Roll artists were barely proficient when they got started, but at least they hone their craft.
Fake news!
Keep in mind that the quality of vinyl has completely greatly over the past few years. That means those who listen to real music have to replace it less often.
Umgowa bunga badabing badabang!
LOLOL!!
One of my favorites:
Play It Cool--The Spaniels (1954)
My collection is mainly pop/rock...but also includes classical, country and "easy listening" (my parents' music) and instrumentals (from the 50's/60's).
There hasn't been a single song that I've heard released in the last 15-20 years that's worth a damn thing IMO (except "Gangnam Style" and "Happy").
As a result I haven't bought any music in decades.People like me just might be part of the reason why hip hop is now selling more than rock.
It goes with our crappy education.
Together, rock and hip hop make up 48% of the retail market. How about the remaing 52%?
Article doesn’t mention revenue value breakdown. Is it unit count or dollar count.
Sources: Maxim and Huffpo.... Yeah, ok
What happened to Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Raphael?
What happened to Shakespeare, Goethe, Milton, Heine, Dante, Petrarch, Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky?
Their works are all still available for us to enjoy. It's just that the Orcs don't appreciate such things.
And therein lies our problem....
I have more than 1,000 78 rpm discs and about the same number of 45’s and Lp’s. I used to record them onto cassettes until my 1982 Radio Shack Clarinette turntable died and I traded in my 2000 Ford Taurus with its cassette player. However, I am now amassing a collection of Youtube recordings that I convert to MP3’s via a number of free sites on the Internet. These can be loaded onto a USB flash drive and played in the car.
