There will be a practical method of chemical sterilization for pets someday, I believe there already is a product for male dogs. Of course the vets will fight it but you take the good with the bad in all organizations — including PETA.

I have always wondered if this would be possible. It is a noble effort to end a great deal of suffering because of dog and cat overpopulation.

As one who lives in a crowded low income city, I find the picture of suffering dogs and cats to be specious. The problem is rats. If they can neuter dogs and cats via cookies then why not rats?
