“This is a story about the government wanting to please animal conservationists’ by reintroducing bears (who, by way of natural selection, had dwindled in population) near farmers’ livestock.
Another example of over-involvement of the government if you ask me. “

I’m all for reintroducing wolves and rattlesnakes into Manhattan and Washington, DC. Thousands of them.

“When I go “out in the woods”, what I see is too many hikers, birdwatchers, dog walkers, tourists, joggers, and other unnatural fauna.
No mountain bikers screaming down the trails? “

Or kayakers.

I love it when I see city slickers (democrats) wandering around rattlesnake country in shorts and flip flops.

Here is a video of a sheep farmer who posits that brambles are carnivorous plants that eat sheep: https://youtu.be/RuzLXxbGc4c

Delightful video. Thanks!

“Ah, gee, Yogi, the ranger’s really gonna be mad when he finds out you killed all those sheep!”

Re: “I’m all for reintroducing wolves and rattlesnakes into Manhattan and Washington, DC.”

Don't forget malarial mosquitoes, which killed thousands of residents in the major northeast urban areas, well into the 1800s.

Speaking of wolves, northern France suffered a terrible drought in the years before the 1789 Revolution.

At one point, starving wolves from the rural areas around Paris began to enter the city at night searching for food, and there were dozens of reports of people being attacked.

Since there were almost no streetlights in 1789, the hunting was probably pretty good.

I like the malaria idea to because those types love the ban on DDT.

Hmm...like in Matt 8:30, eh? Nah, I think a massive bear is motivation enough to jump off a cliff.

However, I’m not sure what “spirit” government officials were in when they brought bears into the region in the first place.

Ha! Yeah, right. And post ‘em around the sheep so that when they see a ferocious/growling bear running towards them at 30 mph with no visible way of protection other than the clearly posted sign, they’ll feel safe enough and continue grazing...lol.

I wonder why libs even call that a solution.
