But, this being New York, she is still drawing her $180,000/year salary.

Which she used to vacation in Thailand, where she was communing with monks (wink, wink, nod, nod, say no more, say no more)! The audacity of this woman blows me away! Remember when she was led to the courthouse after being forced to come back from Thailand. Here's a link to the video:

Why is he still a Judge? That is a public trust position. The a Judge has violated that.

Perhaps because “he” is a black, female democrat?

This entitled “judge” was all ear-to-ear smiles and giggles during her June court appearance. Amazing what a few weeks in jail will accomplish. She looks like she is about to break down in tears in some of the photos I saw.

Annnnnd her daughter cursed out the judge—was removed from the courtroom.

It’s good to be black, demonrat and lib in NYS.

I can only IMAGINE how much INjustice was dealt out from her bench over the years to anyone who wasn’t in “the club.”

p.s. she’ll only probably serve 10 days because the judge also added “time served.”

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2017/07/06/new-york-judge-sentenced-60-days-jail-3-years-probation/456679001/

Link with more details. When given the probation part of the sentence, her attorney said she didn’t want probation and would rather serve straight jail time. The judge said too bad, she’s having probation. The attorney said she will break probation as soon as she is on it. The judge said well we’ll be right back here then.

She also cussed at the judge, telling him f* you. Nice example for the inner city she said she stood as an example for.

The other articles I read said it was her daughter that cussed, not her.

You are correct. I read it wrong.

Pretty sad behavior all the way around. A judge telling her lawyer to say she’ll break probation. That’s crazy.

The presiding judge admonished her for not showing any remorse for her actions. He was pissed and wasn't going to take any of her crap!

And, so they are...

Judge Astacio accused of violating her probation:

Less than a month after getting out of jail, Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio is accused of violating her probation.

Astacio was convicted in 2016 of driving while intoxicated. Earlier this year, she served jail time after being convicted of violating court orders. She was also sentenced to three years' probation.

As part of her probation, Judge Astacio has to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet around her ankle -- known as a SCRAM device. The prosecutor told us Tuesday the monitor registered a positive test for alcohol on July 14. That's the day after Judge Astacio got out of jail.

Was that a freight elevator they put her on?

Pretty smug and arrogant, isn’t she? How long do we have to wait for “these types” to get their comeuppance? Seems like forever!

“”Nice example for the inner city she said she stood as an example for.””

That language seems to be their norm...They were empowered by obozo and they’re not letting go of that!
