According to Gallup polling done between June 2016 and June 2017, LGBT Americans are more likely to be married to a spouse of the opposite sex than one of the same sex. [ ]
LGBT Americans are still more likely to be married to an opposite-sex spouse (13.1%) than a same-sex spouse (10.2%), but the gap is narrowing, said Gallup.

Seems like a lot of work having sex with someone who’s parts you detest after playing up how you like them so much that you want to spend the rest of your life with them when really you don’t and live a secret life in a closet.
I don’t buy it. I couldn’t do that charade in reverse, that’s for sure.
Maybe there is something to the B in LGBT.
AKA: Tha Downlow.
What? Now I’m really confused.
So, the majority of the LGBTQWERTY minority are not interested in marriage of any variety.
Wife, who has over 30 years in the mental health field, says that these gay people have never grown up. They live in a perpetual mental state of when they were post middle school where all their friends were of the same gender.
She/I know several and I think she has a point.
Sorry, an absolutely worthless thread on a segment of society that should not even be considered in the grand scheme of things. Is their immorality all that is noteworthy?
Yeah...what the hell?!
I see your point, but this particular segment of society, small and annoying though they may be, has a great deal of influence on many aspects of everyday living in this country. It’s best to know those who may oppose you in some constructive manner. Know what motivates them. Know what ensnares them.
Lawyers and psychologists are often taught to do this, so that intellectually, you can debate most any position, using their own lingo and talking points. Whether you agree or not.
Think of Rush Limbaugh, who knows the liberal mind so well.
He can often predict who will say what about which topics.
And the enemy at large poses as an ally of this group for political points. The Art Of War, III:18
- If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
- If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.
- If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Quote of the day!
Who is without sin? Their immorality is indeed noteworthy as the article states 13.1% are married to opposite sex partners so in effect they are living a heterosexual life and hence are no more or less sinful than anyone else. We can hope that more will take this path out of immorality.
Who knows? I am certain that the B applies to some people. Not to mention some people may be in a relationship with a T.
Most of the general population of adults are not married. Many just shack up.
lesbians and fags are completely missing the obvious...
the perfect man for a lesbian is a fag and vice versa.
A woman who likes someone who acts like a woman should be pursuing fags. And a man who likes someone manly should be pursuing lesbians.
A woman who likes someone who acts like a woman should be pursuing fags. And a man who likes someone manly should be pursuing lesbians.
The Ts just have plastic surgery, no sex change and overwhelmingly they partner with homosexuals even though homosexuals claim that they don’t like the opposite sex or the sex traits of the opposite sex.
Yeah, it doesn’t make sense to me either.
If the Bs are faithful to their marriage, then they are Hs, not Bs, Ls, Gs, or Ts.
If they continue to engage in H sex some of the time, then their marriage is “open” or a sham.
And if the former Bs are now Hs, it diminishes their number in the GBLT agenda. A dalliance with experimentation (or seduction/abuse). Funny how all of the Questioning yutes are assumed to be gay but when a bisexual person claims their experiments with same sex encounters are over (former gay) they are called liars and closeted.
Surveys going back decades show:
1. a lot of young people experiement
2. most young people grow up
The other side argues simultaneously that gender is fluid and that people are “born this way.” Of course, the other side is the other side because it is incapable of logic.
Is gender fluid? For the large majority of people, no. The large majority of people are strongly heterosexual and this natural orientation is usually strengthened through upbringing, socialization and the rewards that come along with family formation. These people - the normals - are the ones who are “born this way.”
For a small minority of people, there is a range of orientation from homosexual to bisexual to weakly heterosexual. (There is a category of intersexual that I will simply ignore in this post.) Almost all of these people, through upbringing, socialization and the rewards that come along with family formation, can live as heterosexuals. This will be harder for those at the homosexual end of the range, but it’s still possible. These are the people who are gender fluid (which is not to say that they are all equally gender fluid).
