Originally sentenced to death, commuted to life in prison when the California Supreme Court overturned the death penalty, and he has been recommended for parole five times. Gotta love the justice system.
Ooops, nevermind, he apparently got life in prison originally. I should have confirmed my recollection before posting.
All parole boards should be abolished and the money spent on them used to build more and larger prisons. No one should ever be let out early. If convicted the felon needs to be locked up for the entire sentence.
