Hodgkinson campaigned for Sanders in Iowa while the Vermont lawmaker was running for the Democratic presidential nomination last year, the Washington Post reports.
Charles Orear, 50, of St. Louis, who worked alongside him, called Hodgkinson a passionate progressive who showed no signs of violence or malice toward others. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” Orear told the newspaper. “I met him on the Bernie trail in Iowa, worked with him in the Quad Cities area.” He said Hodgkinson is a “quiet guy,” “very mellow, very reserved,” who stayed with him at a fellow Sanders’s supporters home in Illinois.
“He was this union tradesman, pretty stocky, and we stayed up talking politics,” he told the Post. “He was more on the really progressive side of things.” In August 2016, after Sanders had lost the Democratic nomination, he posted on Facebook, “I want Bernie to Win the White House,” along with a petition calling for Sanders to join the Green Party.
In June 2015 he wrote, “The Opposite of a Liberal Progressive is a Bigoted Racist that wants the Rich to get Richer at the expense of the 99%…..Republicans are so Stupid….”
He wrote in May 2015, “Congressional Republicans Hate Americans & Should All be Voted Out of Office……..” Hodgkinson did not have a job or any legitimate means of support.
Yet he was able to travel around the country and work for Democrat candidates.
He voiced typical Democrat attitudes on social media and was involved in many discussions with so called “progressive Democrats.”
Hodgkinson supposedly just “happened” to be at the same baseball field where Republicans were at 7 in the morning. There is no indication whatsoever of where he was staying and how he supposedly was able to know where republican Congressmen and Senators would beat 7 in the morning with minimal security. He also just happened to have a high powered rifle with him at 7 am.
He supposedly was there at random. In fact, he and those working with him, were able to identify one of the few places and times when many important Republican officeholders would be in a public place and most vulnerable. He did not shoot randomly but aimed at Scalise and other Republicans. Nothing in his background or experience suggests that Hodgkinson was intelligent or knowledgeable enough to have planned or executed this by himself. However, as a brainwashed Democrat Party operative and dupe, he was willing to be persuaded and convinced to kill Republicans on behalf of progressives.
He is just like the masked, Democrat controlled activists who riot at Berkeley and other locations. He shares there “progressive” political philosophy and their willingness to do violence on behalf of their cause.
This was not a random nut as the media falsely portrays him.
This was an active Democrat operative and Sanders supporter who was sent in a preplanned attack to kill Republican Congressmen and Senators.

No one travels this much for political reasons without funding.
CW II is being waged a the present time, My FRiend. The reason that it is not not noticeable is that only side is warring. And warring side is not us. I do not believe this guy was act solely on his on. Someone in the know had instructed him to be at this place and to be there at a certain time. I also believe that part of his purpose was to send a message to President Trump.

Guy also had some assault and dui cases back home which were dismissed. St Claire county cops and local state troopers aren’t lazy around there, they’re usually fair, not sloppy...I wonder if he had law firm connections or politicians there through his union to get him off.
Wonder if he wrote any angry letters to the Belleville News Democrat, which used to be pretty conservative, home to a well known conservative cartoonist
