True but gorgeous area/topography/lake especially in fall. Reminiscent of New England sea coast and-unortunately-New England politics.A relatively ignorant populace...naturally.

Lived in duluth aka dumbluth for 17 long winters.. other then beauty duluth/superior do not offer a lot.. lots of loony leftys

Jeno, maybe, but not Jimmy. Jimmy was dropped off at a local rendering plant. When they were done his earthly remains were interred in thousands of piles of dog poop.

Spent my honeymoon at Split Rock Lighthouse, we went there often before leaving the land of 10,000 taxes. Duluth does have a fine dining restaurant called “The Black Woods” A lot of scenic driving. We rather enjoyed the drives and then head off to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The state bird is the loon and Duluth exemplifies that.

My Norwegian grandparents farmed near Warroad which is about 200mi north west of Duluth. Good conservative salt of the earth people. Great fishing area and north into Manitoba, cold winters, great summers.
