As I see it, the 'Toons were never unraveled. GWB & Co. had no desire to pull on any threads, and his old man probably admired the way Bill and Hil weaponized every aspect of fedgov for the prog/globalist cabal. Obama merely built on top of what was the foundation of a "fundamentally transformed" system that had been laid courtesy of the Clintons and left untouched (occasionally even tuckpointed) by Team Bush.
