I don’t know. I was admiring the machine work. The trigger guard, the trigger, and the transition above look good to me.

Magazine baseplate -- held in firing position by a European-style magazine release/catch - at the bottom rear of the buttstock.

Ignorant choice of background obscures the outline of the catch...
