On Wednesday, the Russian government posted photos of President Donald Trump meeting with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak on its official Twitter accounts.
This drew immediate criticism because the White House seemed to have allowed Russian state media to take photos of the meeting while excluding any American media outlets from doing the same.
Now a White House official tells CNN’s Jim Acosta that the Trump administration is “furious” at the Russians for posting the photos, as they claimed they were not told beforehand that any pictures would be posted on state-run social media accounts.
“They tricked us,” one official told Acosta about the Russians. “They lie.”
The official also said that the White House “did not anticipate” that the photos would ever be used by the Russians for propaganda purposes. That said, the official also slammed critics who called the meeting with Kislyak inappropriate because it came just one day after Trump fired the person overseeing the FBI’s investigation into Russia’s interference with the 2016 election.
“It is ridiculous to say that an ambassador can’t meet with the president,” the official said.

The thing is, the media could just be pulling stunts like so many have been caught in the last year for fake hate crimes. However, with the anonymous person's words they don't have to face scrutiny or honesty.... and that is a lack of evidence that any real journalist or historian should find appalling.

LOL- I was watching a talking-head on TV yesterday complaining that they press was not allowed in but the RUSSIAN press did have photographs, but they were not going to show (because it wasn’t fair and Trump was a meany or something)
Russian media photographers were there as well as American media photographers. Story is a hoax.

Trump trolled the media in this meeting. He DENIED the US press from covering it while allowing the Ruskies to be there.
Trump himself even posed with Dr. Henry Kissinger and other Russian officials knowing the Russians would post the pictures so as to piss off the MSM.
And it worked. So now Raw Story is pulling this garbage out of its ass? Typical.

I will guarantee you there was also an official White House photographer taking photos, and will distribute them to the media upon request.

Sarah Huckabee responded today at the press briefing that it was in accordance with protocol to allow Russian government photographers to cover the event along with the official WH photographer. There have been plenty of events where the US media were not present. Many have to do with the visits of other than heads of state. The Russian FM and Russian ambassador fit that definition.
True, it is unbelievable stupid. One has to remember though, that the people who believe this garbage are not thinking critically. In fact, many want to believe it.
