Comey should have been fired months ago; he screwed the pooch all throughout '16 and proved that he couldn't/wouldn't do his job and had tried to do the jobs he had no business usurping. He can't be trusted.

He had more than enough rope and DID hang himself last July!

What do you think of the idea of Sheriff Clarke as replacement for Comey? Is he qualified enough? If he's a viable candidate, I think it would be a great idea...

I'd rather it was Rudy G., but I doubt it shall be him.

I adore Clark, but he's the wrong man to head the FBI....right now. We need someone who j=has more political savvy.

I like the idea of Rudy as well. I realize his age might work against him, but He'd still be a great choice—one that the Dems would hate, and yet be unable to whine about too much—because of his overall reputation for integrity...

But he would be my first choice, given my druthers.
