He was convicted of two counts of passing a note to a teller at a bank (two different occasions) demanding money. There is no evidence he ever had a gun. Still nine months and not deported? Something is wrong with this picture.

The male doctor was an English immigrant. Not clear about the national origin of his fiancee. She was an instructor an in anesthesia, Harvard Medical School.
The male doctor specialized in pain management from North Shore Pain Management, and the perp is from Lynn, a seedy town on the North Shore. Could have been he wanted Oxy or perc and the doctor wouldn't write him a script. Sounds like the doctor was a solid citizen, former Harvard Medical School instructor, not a pill pusher.
The killer is called by the local papers,

Local news reports say that the Company that provides security in that building would not confirm or deny that the killer worked for them or ever worked in that building.
The language might be an indication of trying to avoid a huge lawsuit.
Reports said it would have been next to impossible to gain access to that penthouse without keys or without having the occupants let him in.
