Police say an Ontario man wanted on a Canada-wide second-degree murder warrant in the killing of his girlfriend has fled to the U.S. and they are investigating a Reddit post purporting to show the murder suspect confessing to the crime.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to a 911 call at 38 Country Hill Drive around 3 a.m. April 28 in Kitchener, Ont., where they found the body of 22-year-old Melinda Vasilije suffering from multiple stab wounds after a “targeted” attack.
Investigators focused their attention on Vasilije’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Ager Hasan of Hamilton, as the lead suspect in her death and said the two had been involved in a relationship for about a year.
Police immediately connected with American law enforcement agencies, the Canada Border Services Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It was then determined Hasan had crossed the border undetected at around 5:45 a.m.

Women want strong masculine men. Too many women equate a propensity of a man to hit his girlfriend as being strong and masculine. If he will beat her up then he is capable of protecting her and won’t let harm come to her. There is a bit of contradiction here but it works that way. Moslems in general and Arabs in particular beat their women and protect them the way a farmer protects his cattle. They are sequestered, fenced, and regulated. They are covered up so they won’t provide temptation to other men. They are protected as possessions and useful animals. In the West Arabs can be very suave gentlemen while they are engaged in seduction as they learn quickly what it takes to secure a western woman who is not yet enclosed as women in the homeland are from birth. When a woman marries her suave gentleman he becomes a by-the-book Mohammedan Arab and she becomes a prisoner.

Eastern European women love exotic muslims. Turks, Pakistanis, etc. I’ve seen them shack up with those types more times than I can count.
But I have to say, in defense of this guy, I have personally experienced something like this. I believe it is his own fault for putting himself there but at the point where she is coming at him with a knife, I have been there.
When I was 16 my crazy stepmother came at me with a butcher knife. Before I even realized what had happened I had decked her. I never made a decision to hit her. I don’t recall even understanding there had been a threat. Literally, the sequence of events was, she had a knife, she was moving toward me, she was on the ground. I didn’t recall initially how she got there and was shocked that I had hit her. My conscious mind had literally not been an observer of the event. Literally.
I wonder which sanctuary city/state he’ll be found in.
Gee, it’s strange that he didn’t admit that he was under court order not to see Vasilije, as the police tell it.
I guess he forgot that part. After he killed her.
Just have to get away to figure out how to get away with killing her is all I get from that post.
It would take a lot of convincing to shift from that position for the lengths he took to flee then post his story on reddit.
Then again, I’ve seen a whole lot of idiocy over the years, his story could completely be on the up and up and I’d still view it as a double homicide. If he had the slightest thought that she might still be alive and did not call for medical aide, well, that’s depraved indifference in my book if everything else about his story completely checks out.

You don’t have to tell me the answer to this question because you do have a right to reveal only what you want to reveal...but what did your father think about what happened?
Whoa, that is heavy. Even IF true, there is another alternative when your gf comes at you with a knife. Besides pick up another knife. GET OUT.
I actually think his story could be sort of true that he didn’t plan to murder her that night, but it doesn’t matter. OJ Simpson probably didn’t wake up that day planning to kill his wife either.

He was standing a few feet away and saw the whole thing. As I recall he just shook his head. Of course this was all part of a much larger, decades long, problem.
Girlfriend was described as being pregnant; I would presume that it was his son or daughter who was also killed.
They do, which is how they knew he'd crossed the border, but if there's nothing in NCIC, how was Customs supposed to know?
Actually, given the strength differential between men and women, if he can beat up OTHER GUYS, then he is capable of protecting her.
I just mentioned it because I was so effected by how fast it happened. How had I been asked minutes earlier I would have responded I would never strike a woman. I guess I remained true to that because I never “decided” to do it.
I have been in self defense training over the years and one thing Ayoob said sticks with me. One must train to respond because we don’t rise to the occasion. As much as I endorse that philosophy, I have to admit, at least on that occasion, I did “rise to the occasion” but I would never count on it.
