No, Joan Osborne was singing the Motown song. I looked it up, and Marilyn Monroe sang the Irving Berlin song. (I posted Ella Fitzgerald sing that version.) Apparently the MM version has changed, “sexier” lyrics than the original Berlin version.

Hopefully California has had the foresight to have catch basins or lakes ready to catch the melting snowpack.

California does have that sort of water catchment infrastructure, but it's decades old, and the state has failed to build enough capacity to keep pace with demand.

Apparently, subsidizing illegals, bullet trains to nowhere, goofball 'green' projects, and servicing bloated state pension funds, are higher priorities in that state.
