Well, sorry...the good Doctor DID score a HUGE financial settlement. His attorney had United by the short hairs and knew it.
I’m thinking he got more than a business class upgrade voucher.
United would have paid out less money to Dr. Dao, or al least to his estate, if they had let him stay on the plane and then killed him by intentionally crashing the plane.
But for the 7-10 million United paid to Dr. Dao, he will be as quiet as if they had killed him.
I do remember one saying he wouldn’t win.
