FULL TITLE: Now United's killing fluffy bunnies! Son of the world's biggest rabbit dies on United flight. Huge three foot bunny arrives in Chicago dead in 'strange' circumstances
Beleaguered United Airlines faces fresh controversy after a 'fit and healthy' giant rabbit died in the cargo hold of one of its flights.
Simon, a ten-month-old 3ft continental giant rabbit, was on track to outgrow the world's biggest rabbit - his 4ft 4in dad, Darius.
But Simon's devastated owner Annette Edwards from Stoulton in Worcester claims he died in the cargo hold of a flight from Heathrow Airport to Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Imagine another bunny having to share the same cargo hold. “Do you really need both arm rests and half my seat space as well?”
United killed the Easter Bunny.
hey even horses don’t fly United they fly DHL
I really need glasses. At first I thougt it said “Son of world’s biggest Rabbi...
I know some Rabbis and they’re great folk. But I was wondering why they were being compared to fluffy bunnies :)
They weren’t THAT cute.
“I really need glasses. At first I thougt it said Son of worlds biggest Rabbi..”
That will be in the headlines next week, United has not got around to it yet.
Flew into Chicago...I say Airport Police did it.
Maybe they put bunny in the regular hold instead of the pressurized area? A bunny autopsy is in order.
Ah United...Its to die for.
Russians killed that rabbit — you heard it here first.
Hmmmm. Sounds like his luck ran out.
lol. They’re taking one disaster a week.
This should go over well with kids and PETA :)
The whole fuselage including cargo hold is pressurized, but it can get pretty cold in some spaces below the passenger floor.
(And that's the truth!)
‘What? You mean behind the rabbit?...
That’s no ordinary rabbit- That’s the most foul crueeeel and bad tempered rodent you ever set eyes on
You twit- I soiled my armor I was so scared”
I’d rather fly with the horses. They’re treated better than humans and they’re usually better company.
