I know that. What I was saying was 16&17 should have been one verse since the word “for” is a preposition connecting the two verses and should be read as one. Sixteen is always quoted but never followed with seventeen; they’re interconnected.

I don’t justify killing but who did he kill? A drug thug or a gang thug?

He killed Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player and a friend of his.

Is it a loss? Ok again not justifying but are we better off with the person Aaron killed gone forever?

It would take a very serious dislike of semi-pro football to make this case. People's lives don't become less valuable because someone thinks they'd be better off without them - that's a lesson Aaron Hernandez should have learned before he killed. I'd imagine Lloyd's family and friends think it's a considerable loss and would prefer he was still with them.

Suicides don’t make it in.

I do hope he repented and had his heart changed before he died.

Considering he played with Tebow at Florida, you would have thought if he truly wanted to repent, he would have called on Tebow.

>If he accepted Christ, his acts don’t matter.

Just a swag here, but I’m guessing any family members or loved ones of the victims think a scumbags actions matter very much.

Evil can never be forgiven. It must be fought and eliminated without prejudice.

Maybe you’re right. Pride, however, may have prevented him.

I completely disagree. BTW, that sentence came from one of the Batmans. I think it is the last Rambo film as well. anyway, it flies against the teachings of Christ.

The thief on the cross was forgiven right on that spot. Furthermore, I know I have fell well short of the Glory of God, and by his grace and sacrifice of his Son Jesus, can I be saved.

Jesus said there was one unforgiveable sin. You think it was suicide?

only God knows his heart and intentions.

we can all guess and share opinions, but only he and God know what his final thoughts or communication with God was.

He could have accepted God or asked forgiveness in final moments when too weak to undo what he had (or some one) had done to him.
