Most whites know to avoid that death trap. Unless they are unfamiliar with ATL or are clueless liberals.
Ummm... what if you have to get to the airport?
The first I heard that was the 70’s. Didn’t know it went back that far.
The reporters have been very quick to point out the cops vs the motorist in Gwinnett are white vs black. Not so quick to point out the races in this shooting. I wonder why?
Peachtree Dr? I’m familiar with Peachtree Rd, Street, others but no Peachtree Drive.
Believe it or not, there is still a Confederate Avenue in Atlanta, home of the Georgia Department of Public Safety and no efforts to change the name that I am aware of.
Not sure about the fluid situation...
But per the title I’m more interested in if they hit the station or not.........
.....Four people shot at MARTA station; ....
A lot of “Frontage Roads” there also.
A lot of “Frontage Roads” there also!
"Worst case of disrespect I've ever seen!"
I hear up north the streets are named after gay guys that go by three names that each start with “E”...
Park N Ride, Uber, Lyft (if they can ride down there).
I’ve done MARTA once to the airport and it was a freak ride straight out of Total Recall on Mars.
ROFL. Where I live there are no streets, just backwoods and trails.
The last time I rode MARTA I promised myself if I got off in one piece would NEVER ride it again
Of course it’s b on b shooting. MARTA is all you need to know
I’ll not even get into what MARTA stands for
Memphis doesn’t have a MLK Dr,Ave or St. It does have a MLK stretch of I40 on the N side
:)
I got the reminder today. I had forgotten about it since I heard it way back in the 90’s. LOL
I think it dates back to the 1960s 5 county vote on transit as part of the grassroots campaign to keep MARTA out of Cobb. It took a bit longer for Gwinnett to get with the program, and you may have run across it in connection with the 1971 vote in that county.
This article also dates it to the 1960s.

Horrible area.
