Being outside is more fun, though.

Tore an LCL a mile and a half down a river trail. Charming walk back home.

How long will we tolerate the carnage?

I hear you. Reading or watching amazon streaming video helps.

We need commonsense treadmill control.

I’ll bet. When I lived it Watertown, I tripped and fell onto a bunch of broken beer bottles. Fortunately, it was just a block from my apartment and I wasn’t badly hurt.

I liked living there, but the locals had a tradition of going out on Friday night and throwing and shattering their empty beer and other glass bottles onto the street.

I have access to a pool, treadmills and those cross over things.
I choose the pool. Not as boring and better on the knees.

Absolutely. I’d love to put in a pool but our soil is full of stones. Typical New England. We’re also on a slope.

I miss running every time I use the treadmill, but am grateful that I can still move.

I prefer to run outdoors.

There's uneven pavement, roots, cars, dogs and low flying airplanes.

Stay away from exercise treadmills! My alcoholic brother who is prone to violence agrees.

“Shades of Harry Reid?”

Harry was allegedly working out with elastic exercise “bands” when one of them broke and struck him about the head and face repeatedly. He was, however, observed leaving this unfortunate woman’s apartment building.
